Would you believe that I have finished my first semester of UNI!!! YAY! Go me.
Did the exams, thinked I passed both *crosses fingers* Should get final marks soon!! (hopefully). Am applying for next semesters course and I have to pick 4.
So Far I am doing
Sociology of Children and Families
A Sociological introduction to Anthropology
Key Practices and Debates in Sociolgy - Compulsory
Leisure Behaviour and Development.
My Majors are Sociology and Leisure/Tourism..... There are two others I wouldn't mind doing but I think these are the best bet. Lol. That, and they sound interesting.
Ooooooo... applying for my passport tomorrow!! Wish me luck!

Started University...Is driving me knuts.
All of my spare time has gone down the drain. I can't get over it! *sigh*
The Assignments are killing me and I wish I had more free time... other then that, I like the subjects, met some new people (not a lot though) so that is a bugga. I am at work so I shouldn't be on here but hey... what can I say. I am bored out of my mind.
I'm on reception at the moment and people are particularly stupid today. I really can't talk to anymore of them!
Missed my journal and all you guys while I was gone. So sticking around for a bit longer this time! Yay... I am back to stay... sigh and happy about it!

Have a cold, I had to go to the doctors to get some anti-biotics, I also have my Tafe course that started this week. I amd kinda bored at the moment because the are all doing things I already know.
Went and booked myself in for a test to get my P2 license tomorrow. *fingers crossed* I'll let you know how I go. Had to fill my car with petrol today and it cost me half of my pay, that was not cool.
Bought the motorcycles driver license book today so that I can read through it before I go for the test and the teaching weekend that we all have to go to if you want to get your motorbike license, the only problem is the cost for everything, since I got to get good boots and all that stuff. Any hints on what brand to get (jackets and stuff) or what is best to wear is greatly appreciated!!
Kinda excited... but unfortunately I feel 'blah' today. don't know why

Got my Spanish Today! It came in the mail with one of those post slips that tells you to get your arse down to the post office and pick it up. So I sent it out with the work mail, I have been dying to look through it all day. So that is what I am off to do!

Oh my god!!!
Coldplay was great!!
We were in General Admissions (the "mosh pit") and it was soooooo good, the atmosphere was unreal and I had the best time, there were these huge balloons dropped from the ceiling, (we are talking about 5 metre diameter here) and they were crowd surfed until they popped and all this gold glitter poured out! IT was so much fun!!! I bought a t-shirt and we had a blast. The 6:14 am train ride back the next morning wasn't so great but we dealt with that quite well I thought.

Hmm... well I spent today working at the cinemas, in the cafe
I made a burger and chips for Wilfred
I am getting better at making coffee but my specialty are mocha's and hot chocolates, I am hopeless with Iced Chocolates though! It is just impossible to get the cream right!!
But yes.. .that is about it! Oh and my books came from ebay! But now I have no room in my bookshelf so They are just sitting on my desk.
*sigh* I will have to save and buy another bookshelf I think

I had two of my friends from Gunnedah come down on the weekend and they spent all of Saturday with me and Slink and we had a heap of fun, then they stayed at my house on Saturday night and we talked for a while and they showed me some good HP sites, it was a lot of fun! And it was great to see them again!

Ok. So I spent most of today doing absolutely nothing.
Well that isn't true, I found some billy boyd interviews that I downloaded and Iam going to try and put them on my ipod.
I downloaded some more Will Moseley pics for Indie's and Katie's board.
Saved a few icons
Made some cool stargate screen caps
and I looked up the legal obligations of getting a motorbike license in NSW and ACT to see where is the best state to get the license. So far the ACT far outways NSW. Which is just as well. At uni next year I will be 8 hours away... easier to hide the motorbike from the family (I think they would have a heart attack.)
Now I am going to watch pride and prejudice (the older one)

I really don't mind that the guy next door is getting extensions. I just wish it wasn't 6 am in the morning that they start up the bobcat. I mean..... I like my sleep a little bit more than that. I could even maybe understand if that was the case on a weekday but at 6 am on a Sunday it is a bit much!

okay. So I did drop that icky course at Newcastle (I dropped it before I had to pay hecs)
Soooo... now I have a job at the cinemas and hunter resort and Pegasus management.
This means that because plan A didn't work, that I am now focused on Plan B (these are plans for my future)
This is the outline of Plan B:
- Take a course in B of International studies/ B Communication in Public Relations.
- This is at Canberra University which means I will have to stay on campus... and.... that I will have to work for the rest of the year to get enough money...
- Also means I will be learning a language.

I'm at uni, my first day... I was late for my first lecture!!! Damn that sucked, I snuck in the back though!
I had a lecture from 9-10 and I don't have anything else until 5!! I'm in the library just hanging on the comps!!!

YAY! Hunter Resort got back to me (the place I had a waitressing interview at last week) and they said I have two shifts this week. I guess that means that I went well! Yay.
The funny thing is that I have a trial at the cinemas next weekend.
What do you think? Should I go for having two jobs on top of uni?? What kind of hours do you think are a good idea??

Orientation was today (for uni) the place is huge.

-Got a supply list about a metre long (and is going to cost a pretty penny for all of those paints and pencils. *sigh*)

I had my friends 18th last night, it was a lot of fun, I will have to post photos. She is half greek and half south african so she told us all to dress up that is a country. So I got a chinese silk robe (kinda like the ones on the memoirs of a geisha) It was great, and of course there was lots of alcohol. She lives about 30 mins out of town and I had to drive out, crashed the night but had to be back in town by 8. So I went to bed at 4:30 am and got up at 6:30. So I am really tired right about now.
Put some clothes on Lay-by cos I have no money... I guess I know where my first lot of money is going hey?

I had an interview for a job today.
It was at Hunter Valley Resort as a waitress. It looked really posh, and I am a little intimidated. There is a wine brewery next door and they give wine classes as well. They have given me a trial next thursday (so in a week) to see how I go and they will tell me then if I have the job
*bites nail*
Really nervous now. Hmm.. and I will have to stop biting my nails
